Facility Technician to take the renewal coure is $125.00.
This is a renewal rate only and the license is good only
in North Carolina. If you are renewing and would like a copy
of our new book, you will need to pay the regular rate of $140.00
If you have a certificate from any other approved course
in North Carolina you can take our course to renew your
certificate, however the cost will be $140 so that you can
receive our textbook. Individuals taking our course in the
Charlotte Area or Wilmingtion only pay $125 and you will receive
a copy of the textbook. All individuals who have taken an approved
course may get our certification with just taking a mail order

Take-Home Renewal Test for Basic Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician - Meets N.C. Requirements

This is a mail order test that is available for individuals
that have certification from an approved program in North
Carolina. Obtaining a grade of 70% on this test will provide
you with a certificate valid in North Carolina. This will
not renew any nationally recognized certificate you may
have. If you have a national certificate you can still take
this test however you will receive a certificate valid only
in North Carolina. If you would like to receive a copy of

This National Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician course can be taken two ways.
Individuals can show up for both days or individuals can show up for just the
second day of training. Those completing just the second day must complete eight
hours online prior to attending the second day. This course is accepted by the Wake
County Environmental Health Department.
Please note that regardless of which approved course you choose pool operators in
Wake County must take the Wake County Pool Operator Test administered by the county after
completing an approved course.
