Upon successful completion of the face to face national Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician course (16 hour course) the operator candidate will receive licensure and registration as a LAFT with the ASPSA which is valid for five years. Our face to face national Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician course is approved or meets the regulatory requirements of 48 states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York,
North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina (state issued license required), South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. We are currently seeking approval in the remaining 2 states.

WHAT IS THE LAFT?
The LAFT is a course designed to meet the need to bring
professionalism nationwide to the operation of aquatic facilities.
The LAFT is a symbol to commercial pool and spa owners that their guest and facilities are in the care of professionally licensed technicians.
Candidates are taught the most advanced techniques of chemical treatment, filtration, and mechanical system operation and
maintenance. State and Local regulations are covered extensively in the course and participants receive a copy of their state rules for pools.
